4th of July

The 4th of July as always was such a fun day full of activities. This year Cameron got to participate in the children's parade. Grandma Connie Pete and I pulled Cam through town in his very cool wagon. Next we met up with my fam and the McGinness Klan to watch the "Big Parade", then headed over to Jay and Karolyn's for an afternoon full of pickle ball, plenty of food and conversation. The kids all had a blast and went strong all day long. We left around 7:45 due to one sleepy little boy. We didn't even make it half way home when Paul noticed Cam was fast asleep.

Lake Wenatchee

Last week Cameron and I went to visit my friends Sandy and Britney at their cabin. The first thing Cam wanted to do after sitting in the car for two hours was hit the beach. So that's what we did. It doesn't take this boy long though to go from bone dry to soaking wet when there is water near by. It wasn't even very warm and the water was literally turning my feet red due to it's ice cold quality. After cam fell all the way in with his clothes on, I quickly took them off and let him play wearing diaper only. He had a great time throwing rocks and sticks for his dogie friend "Oakie" aka Oakley. He got to warm up with Brit in the hot tub. It was a wonderful day catching up with two of my favorite people.

A day at the Everett Children's Museum

A few weeks ago Ash and I took the kiddo's to the children's museum. It's always so much fun! Cameron's favorite thing was the life sized city bus that he sat in for probably over 20 minutes. Jenk's and Saylor spent alot of time in the restaurant. Here are just a few pic's of the fun we had that day.

Cameron climbing....Which he can't get enough of right now.

All of them flying an airplane...

Jenk's & Saylor

All three of them waiting patiently for Cameron to get out of the bus.

Finally our little bus driver.

Garbage Trucks

Cameron and Carson are really into Garbage trucks right now. Here the boy's are eating lunch on the trunk of my car waiting patiently for the "trash man" to come.

Finally the big moment arrives!
I must say, ever since this day our garbage man has been much more friendly. He now waves to Cameron and honks his horn. Cameron loves it! If only life could always stay this simple.

Happy Easter

Today our little family spent the day with my family. There was a ton of wonderful food, conversation and fun. The kiddo's enjoyed an outside egg hunt. Cameron and Kaden knew exactly what to do.

I'm so blessed to know the real reason for Easter! Thank you Jesus for such an amazing gift!

egg fun

This was Cameron's first year to color Easter eggs. I decided it would be more fun if a couple of his friends could come and join him. So cousin Kaden, and sweet Ava took us up on the invite.

The eggs :)

Snack time...

Our neighborhood has a little Easter egg hunt. Cam participated last year but was more successful this year.

The fire department puts on the hunt, so here are my boy's posing in front of the Big Red Truck.

Cam figuring out how an egg hunt works. We actually practiced with him before we left. I was totally imagining him collecting a few eggs, and then dumping out his basket to collect them all over again. But he kept all 4 of them in there! He improved by 3 this year...Yea Cameron!!!!

He gets shy when other kids he doesn't know are around.

The little man enjoying a treat after the big hunt.
It was so windy and totally freezing out...I guess that the fact that we were back home by 1:25 and the hunt started at 1p.m. was a good thing.

Potty Training

Cameron has begun potty training. He is doing really well.
He doesn't tell me when he needs to go, but he's pretty good
at holding it. Every time I ask him if he has to go potty, he
says "no". But he usually always does. He prefers it if Paul or I
sit down on the toilet next to him. He gets a treat if he goes. Sometimes he remembers
and sometimes he doesn't. He ALWAYS remembers
first thing in the morning, or last thing before bed though. Nothing like a little
chocolate at those times.
we are still working on not spraying too much. :)

He could ready his potty book over and over.
