Day Trip....

To Plain Washington. Saturday morning we packed up Cameron and headed over Stevens Pass. We had two goals in mind here. Mine was relaxing and catching up with Sandy and Paul's was kite boarding on Lake Wenatchee. Both were accomplished and we all had a great time. Thanks Sandy and Steve for having us over!

Zoo Day...

Today we spent a fun day at the zoo with Leslie and the girls, as well as Ashley and Jenk's...The animals were feeling social so the kids got to see most of the main attractions. Cameron has a ways to go before he looks at what I'm trying to point out to him. Les did have some success with the otters that were swimming right in front of his face though. I think the best part for every kid is waiting for that treat at the end of the visit. I think Cameron's favorite part was getting to change into Ava's pink sweat pants cause mommy bought Kirkland diapers for the first time and they apparently leak really bad! Oh yes I did have a change of clothes for him like I have always done since the day he was born...I just left them in the car, because we have never needed them and I didn't want to take anymore extra gear. Lesson learned! Thanks girls for a fun day!

Today Cousin Jenk's came over to swim in our little plastic pool. The boy's had a lot of fun. Before we could get a suit on Jenkins he was already having a blast naked in the pool. So Cameron followed in the no bathing suit trend. That's why there are not any pictures posted of the kids in the pool.
I had no idea that Cameron could really scoot around in the pool by himself (with a watchful eye of course). Usually I hang on to him, and make him sit up and splash with his hands. He had a lot more fun today and so did his Mama!

Little Tike

About a month ago I got this little swing for Cameron. I thought I would be perfect for our deck. Today was the day that Daddy was ready to figure out how to make it work. Our deck is covered so he needed to make sure that he drilled into a 2x4 and not air. It took one trip to Home Depot, two different length bolt things, and a few trips into the attic to see what we had to work with up there....And with in no time at all Cameron was in Business!

Are these even called bolts? Well what ever they are they are very secure. They even have a cap that Paul screwed on from inside the attic.
Check out the foot...He spent most of his time in this position. Enjoying a cookie as he swung away! Thanks Daddy for one more form of entertainment here at home!

Summer is my favorite time of year....Here are a few pictures of how we have been spending our time the past week and a half.

Sweet Maggie was in a little princess dance camp. The final day she had a little performance that Cam and I went to watch. She is so good!
We had lots of fun visiting with Shanny and the kids at the beach. Shann was passing out sandwiches here...Everyone seems to be starving!
Just before we left to go home Shan and Cam loving on each other.
Of course what better way to clean a sandy boy, then naked in the water! We still brought a ton of sand home though! It was so great to see you Shan...Are you sure you don't want to move back? (Don't worry I already know the answer) :(

Summer Time Fun

Cameron and I have been enjoying life the past couple of weeks thanks to summer arriving finally in Seattle. I was so looking forward to July 4th this year, but Cameron was sick. One night I had I had vomit all over me and the next I had diarreah. So did the poor little guy too though. :( A few days ago I also spotted his first tooth. I was surprised by my reaction. I thought I would be so sad, cause he is growing up so fast. However I was thrilled!
Here is his little "deck chair", he loves hanging out in it. Tonight he even had dinner in it. I LOVE summer!

This morning we me Les, Ava, and Kassie at the park. Ava was so sweet and shared her sunglasses with Cameron. He wasn't quite sure what to think about them.
Later in the afternoon we went to go watch Daddy kite board, however the wind wasn't blowing so he got to play with us instead! The sand was a big hit with Cam. He only tried to shove it in his mouth a few times.
This picture is from the other morning. I realized I haven't taken a picture of him crying ever. I wish I could remember why he was so upset. Maybe because he realized getting up at 5:50 a.m. isn't so fun. This picture also reminds me to point out that he is sitting up all by himself! Yeah!
