Happy Thanksgiving

We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
We are so thankful for each one of you!

This morning we took advantage of the little bit of snow that was remaining.
Cameron and I started the snow man, but we lack the detail Daddy likes to put into it.
After this picture was taken, the snow man ended up with some buttons, and a broach!
Classy touch!
Only a few hours later most of the snow has melted away!

Just thought I'd share......

Some fun new pictures....
Well it's snowing today. Cameron was so excited to watch the snow come down
this morning. He's to young to remember all the time we spent in the snow
two years ago. I had a hard time convincing him that going to swimming lessons
was a good idea, and then we could play in the snow. I called the pool to double check that they were for sure going to have lessons and they said yes. However, there was no way we were going to make it there in my little Honda. So we turned around about five minutes from home. At that point he was crying because we weren't going to go to swim lessons. Once he felt my little car slip and slide a bit he was ok with going home and playing outside. Last year he got a sled for Christmas which he hadn't used yet. So today we got on all his snow gear and hopped on the sled. I walked him down the steep hill by our lower driveway over and over again. The more we did it the more slippery it got. He had a blast.

Last night our friends Mike and Karyn came over with their little girl Mabel.
As you can see the two of them got along perfectly. I only wish this picture wasn't blurry!
The other one's I took weren't as cute as this.

He got this fire truck for his Birthday. It literally never leaves his side. We park it
backwards of course ( like the real fire stations) each nap and bed time in the "fire house" right next to his bed. It's the first thing he grabs when he wakes up. He even decided this was the toy to bring to Mama's doctors appt. last week, even though he knew he would have to leave it in the car when we got there.

I can't believe how old he looks here. He also loves flying paper airplanes.

I took Jenk's and Cam to the Everett Children's Museum on Cam's real Birthday.
They had so much fun and were so good.

I thought this one was cute of the two of them. They are standing in the ladder part of a fire engine of course. :)

Now He's 3 (Almost)

We celebrated Cameron's 3rd Birthday with friends and family over the weekend.
This year was a lot of fun because he knows exactly what's going on now. He picked
his theme FIRE TRUCKS of course! He was so excited for all of his cousins and friends to
arrive. When he started to open up his gifts, all he wanted to do was play with what ever he had just opened up. He kept one eye on the kid's checking out his new toy's and the other on the gift Mommy was having him open.
Family photo before everyone arrived.
Posing for his mama!

Blowing out his candles...

He gets this shy/embarrassed look on his face when he is the center of attention.
Here everyone is singing Happy Birthday to him. His friend Ava is in the back ground.

Present time....All the kid's were just as anxious as Cameron was.

Cameron had to eat next to big cousin Jenk's. I asked them for a smile and Cameron is a fan of giving me a cheesy grin.

Cam's friend Peder and his mommy Heidi

Jill, our friend and Cam's Babysitter. He loves her!

Checking out one of his very cool new trucks.
We all had a ton of fun.
Cam mommy can't believe your 3 already. Your the best thing that has ever happened to me! You are so loving and sweet. I love our time riding bikes, sliding down the fire pole, Dance parties, reading books, doing dishes together and even jumping on the bed. Something I never thought I would let my kid's do. I love it when you say to me "Mom I have a good idea". or "no just a minute mommy" when your not ready to do what I asked you to do. Thank you for being a cuddle bug and I can't wait to see what new things we do this next year! I love you more than you will ever know! xoxo Mommy

Here are some pictures from the past month.

Cameron and his cousins spent one morning at the pumpkin patch. His favorite part was the hey ride out to the pumpkins.

4th of July

The 4th of July as always was such a fun day full of activities. This year Cameron got to participate in the children's parade. Grandma Connie Pete and I pulled Cam through town in his very cool wagon. Next we met up with my fam and the McGinness Klan to watch the "Big Parade", then headed over to Jay and Karolyn's for an afternoon full of pickle ball, plenty of food and conversation. The kids all had a blast and went strong all day long. We left around 7:45 due to one sleepy little boy. We didn't even make it half way home when Paul noticed Cam was fast asleep.

Lake Wenatchee

Last week Cameron and I went to visit my friends Sandy and Britney at their cabin. The first thing Cam wanted to do after sitting in the car for two hours was hit the beach. So that's what we did. It doesn't take this boy long though to go from bone dry to soaking wet when there is water near by. It wasn't even very warm and the water was literally turning my feet red due to it's ice cold quality. After cam fell all the way in with his clothes on, I quickly took them off and let him play wearing diaper only. He had a great time throwing rocks and sticks for his dogie friend "Oakie" aka Oakley. He got to warm up with Brit in the hot tub. It was a wonderful day catching up with two of my favorite people.
