Keeping Active

Last weekend Cameron and I went to cheer Daddy on at the Beat the Bridge race. Daddy has been participating in this run for several years. He's always trying to get me to partake in the fun, except for some reason I never have time for training and end up as a spectator instead. (I can't say I mind that ) :)

Swimming is one of our favorite family activities. The lazy river is great for Cameron's age. This mini pool has jets that gently push you around and around and around....Cameron usually lasts about 35 minutes. This week we even meet Cousin Jenkins there and Cameron went all the way under 3 times! Of course I don't have any pictures of that swim, cause its alot harder to get the camera out without any extra hands. :)
With in the last week our little man has discovered his sweet teddy bear from Auntie Aim and Uncle Scott. I did not pose him here. I went in to check on him and this is what I saw. It makes me to nervous to let him sleep like this all night long so teddy was removed from his arm after the picture.

Love, Love, Love walking time

This is my friend Stacy and her darling little girl Stella. Stacy lives across the street from us and works from home. Every afternoon around 3:45 ish we check in with each other to see if our daily walk is going to happen. We usually walk for about an hour and a half and the time fly's by. I would never walk that long alone, it would seem to boring. It's the perfect end to a fun day with Cameron. He is usually ready for a little cat nap and sleeps for part of the time. Stacy loves the transition from work to mommy mode. Stella is a sweet pea and gets to munch on "mum mum's" She is 4 months older then Cameron and makes a cute motor boat sound for most of the time. She also like to hold on to the dog leash to help her mommy out.

And here is Mr. Smiley at Green lake Park yesterday. It was his first time in a big "boy swing". Well I guess bigger than the one he used to use in our house. :)

April

Well after over a month of not posting anything I'm back. April was a sad month for our family as Paul's dad took a turn for the worse and lost his battle with Alzheimer's on April 12th. The blessing was all of his family was by his side in his final day's. He was a wonderful man, and everyone of us will treasure the memories we have of him in our hearts. We also look forward to the day we will be reunited with him in heaven!
The pictures posted are from our trip down to California to say good bye to Grandpa. We were down there for 2 weeks. The first week we spent all of our time at his home. The second week we had a little time to sneak in some relaxation. While we were down there our little man learned to roll over! He also turned 5 months ! He is such a joy to all of us. I love him more and more every day! Do you think he's addicted to his passi? It seemed to be in his mouth in most of the picture's we took. :)
