making up for lost time

Little Jillian really is the second child...
Her brother had a ton of posts on this blog when he was born.
So tonight I just decided to pick a few pictures of the last
few months.
Jillian's first week at home.
Cam and Jillian waking up the other morning. Cameron really loves her.
He usually scoots over so she can lay beside him on his pillow. Sometimes she even grabs his hand, he thinks that is really cool.

My little Popsicle boy. He kept telling me take another picture mom.
A few weeks ago I had my dance recital. I had to go down to the garage to find some fish net tights and this is what Cameron found. He wore them most of the day. He kept getting upset that they wouldn't stay on his feet.
Here is Cameron and Jillian for Jillian's first photo shoot. She was 6 weeks here.
After reviewing this post, it appears that Cameron still is dominating this blog. Sorry Sister I will even it up. :)

Jillian Claire

Our little family of four
my favorite nurses Kristi was so sweet to come visit us both days on her lunch break.
"the girls"

After much anticipation little Jillian Claire was born March 16, 2011
She Weighed 7 lbs 6.5 oz & was 19.5 inch long.
I was induced two days prior to my due date so that I could have my doctor deliver her. That morning I waited for the hospital to call me to let me know what time to come in. I received the call and was at the hospital by 8:30 a.m. They started the drugs right away. My nurse took her lunch break, and it was during that time I felt like I could feel Jillian ready to come out. I called for a nurse to come in and told her what I felt. She peeked under the blanket, but did not do anything more then that. Then right after that my doctor came in before she was about to do a C - section. I told her what I was feeling and that the previous nurse didn't really check very hard. So she gloved up and said "yup your baby is right there." "I had a feeling you would go fast." So everything happened super quick after that. Jillian came out just 15 minutes after I started pushing. It was so much easier this time around. Like last time...we once again left the hospital with out a name for our baby girl. Choices were Natalie, Ali, Taylor, I think there was one or two more but I've already forgotten them. Eventually we chose Jillian which was one of the girl names we had on our list when Cameron was born. Claire is in honor of Paul's father. She received her name two days after leaving the hospital. We decided two days faster this time around. :)
She is now 3 1/2 months old...It goes so quickly. She is wonderful and Cameron has adjusted quite well. I think the 3 1/2 year age difference is perfect for me. He loves her and now she smiles and enjoys watching him. I figured this post was beter late then never!

Almost 8 months ago already, Cameron had his first dentist appointment
at his Daddy's office. He did a great job. He of course had the most
fun holding the suction and the "squirt gun" not to mention
the chair ride. For the longest time every time we went up there
he had to go into Bogi's room and ride the chair. He also wanted one of us to
be the patient. He would put gloves, and a mask on, turn the light on and
point it in our mouths. He then let us know what our diagnosis was. If you ask him though what
he's gonna be when he grows up, he will tell ya "a fireman"!

Happy Thanksgiving

We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
We are so thankful for each one of you!

This morning we took advantage of the little bit of snow that was remaining.
Cameron and I started the snow man, but we lack the detail Daddy likes to put into it.
After this picture was taken, the snow man ended up with some buttons, and a broach!
Classy touch!
Only a few hours later most of the snow has melted away!

Just thought I'd share......

Some fun new pictures....
Well it's snowing today. Cameron was so excited to watch the snow come down
this morning. He's to young to remember all the time we spent in the snow
two years ago. I had a hard time convincing him that going to swimming lessons
was a good idea, and then we could play in the snow. I called the pool to double check that they were for sure going to have lessons and they said yes. However, there was no way we were going to make it there in my little Honda. So we turned around about five minutes from home. At that point he was crying because we weren't going to go to swim lessons. Once he felt my little car slip and slide a bit he was ok with going home and playing outside. Last year he got a sled for Christmas which he hadn't used yet. So today we got on all his snow gear and hopped on the sled. I walked him down the steep hill by our lower driveway over and over again. The more we did it the more slippery it got. He had a blast.

Last night our friends Mike and Karyn came over with their little girl Mabel.
As you can see the two of them got along perfectly. I only wish this picture wasn't blurry!
The other one's I took weren't as cute as this.

He got this fire truck for his Birthday. It literally never leaves his side. We park it
backwards of course ( like the real fire stations) each nap and bed time in the "fire house" right next to his bed. It's the first thing he grabs when he wakes up. He even decided this was the toy to bring to Mama's doctors appt. last week, even though he knew he would have to leave it in the car when we got there.

I can't believe how old he looks here. He also loves flying paper airplanes.

I took Jenk's and Cam to the Everett Children's Museum on Cam's real Birthday.
They had so much fun and were so good.

I thought this one was cute of the two of them. They are standing in the ladder part of a fire engine of course. :)

Now He's 3 (Almost)

We celebrated Cameron's 3rd Birthday with friends and family over the weekend.
This year was a lot of fun because he knows exactly what's going on now. He picked
his theme FIRE TRUCKS of course! He was so excited for all of his cousins and friends to
arrive. When he started to open up his gifts, all he wanted to do was play with what ever he had just opened up. He kept one eye on the kid's checking out his new toy's and the other on the gift Mommy was having him open.
Family photo before everyone arrived.
Posing for his mama!

Blowing out his candles...

He gets this shy/embarrassed look on his face when he is the center of attention.
Here everyone is singing Happy Birthday to him. His friend Ava is in the back ground.

Present time....All the kid's were just as anxious as Cameron was.

Pop's and Auntie Aim

Ava and Stella

Cameron had to eat next to big cousin Jenk's. I asked them for a smile and Cameron is a fan of giving me a cheesy grin.

1/2 of grandma Sue (Sorry Mom) Saylor, Kaden, Auntie Aim, and Uncle Scott holding Nash.

Cam's friend Peder and his mommy Heidi

Jill, our friend and Cam's Babysitter. He loves her!

Checking out one of his very cool new trucks.
We all had a ton of fun.
Cam mommy can't believe your 3 already. Your the best thing that has ever happened to me! You are so loving and sweet. I love our time riding bikes, sliding down the fire pole, Dance parties, reading books, doing dishes together and even jumping on the bed. Something I never thought I would let my kid's do. I love it when you say to me "Mom I have a good idea". or "no just a minute mommy" when your not ready to do what I asked you to do. Thank you for being a cuddle bug and I can't wait to see what new things we do this next year! I love you more than you will ever know! xoxo Mommy
