Cameron Turns 1....

Our precious little man had his first birthday today! I can not even begin to imagine life with out him...
He is simply the best thing that has ever happened to us.
Our morning was like any other normal morning. Up at the crack of dawn, bottle, breakfast and lots of play time. The rest of the day was pretty normal too, except for the fact that both of his naps were only a half hour long! Let me tell you not enough sleep for a birthday boy who is about to have guests over to celebrate with him. His little party was fun ... All went smoothly except for when I (mommy) accidentally dropped his birthday cake! So instead he got to have a cup cake... He will never know the difference. I only wish I had taken a picture of it before it went splat on the floor. While I was helping him open his presents he thought it was way more fun to play in my baking cupboard. Vanilla and slivered almonds were the items of choice. After everyone left he was sooooo ready for bed. That's exactly where he went and we haven't heard a peep from him since. We love you little Cam, thanks for blessing our lives each and every day!

He LOVES Maggie and Ava.....When they arrived Cam came straight to Mag's and gave her a big hug...It was so sweet!
He got to open one gift this morning...The one that arrived weeks ago from Granny in California! She knew exactly what he would like...Handy Manny of course! Oh and a very HUGE teddy bear that didn't make it in this picture. (Please note I do realize his clothes are not coordinated. He woke up soaking wet this morning and this is what I came up with in the dark :) )

Cammy's Halloween Fun...

As you can see Cameron was a sweet little pumpkin for Halloween...
He had a very full day. First off to his great aunts house to meet up with more aunties, cousin's and grandma. Then later a big night out in our neighborhood tick or treating. He didn't mind his costume at all... Except when we were in the car and his little stem hat turned around on him so he could not see anything. I had to pull over and take it off for him.

Calm before the storm

Nothing new or exciting around here...
Here are some pictures from this weekend. Lot's of visits to the park to burn some energy. I know craziness is ahead 6 birthday's to celebrate in November including Mr. Cameron's. So I will continue to enjoy this day.

My little Helper

Now that Cameron is 11 months he is quite the little helper! The other day I was unloading the dish washer and turned around to find him in this position. Let me remind you that my back was turned for maybe 15 seconds! This guy is quick and literally into EVERYTHING! But I wouldn't trade any of this for anything! I love you baby Cameron!!!

Finally

Well after five years of growing and very few hair cuts, Paul decided it was time to chop it ALL off! He promised me he would do this after his 20 year high school reunion. Then he started having second thoughts. I kept telling him I was totally done with these long locks. So when he went for his appointment today I wasn't sure if he would really do it or not. He did it though and I couldn't be happier! We wondered what Cameron would think of it when he woke up from his nap, he wasn't phased one bit. Every time he walks in the room he seems like a different person I have to get used to seeing him with short hair again. Thanks Paul for really doing it!

Family

Last week Auntie Lisa came to Seattle for a visit. It was great to see her, but we missed the rest of her family. Saturday we went to the locks and had fish and chips. Cameron however was more interested in getting out of his stroller so he could play with his new soccer ball Daddy got for him.

Here are the sweet babies....Only four weeks apart from each other!
