Barley Cereal

This week Paul and I decided it was time to try a little cereal. We went with Barley over Rice due to the constipation issues we were having. He loves it and eats every last bite! All the books that I have read say it won't help with sleep, however I am only getting up once at night now instead of two or three times. I'm loving that!
Doesn't he look satisfied?

Let's go swimming Dad

Here is Cameron's first swim. He loved the warm sun and the refreshing water. I think he is going to love the water like his Daddy!

Cameron's trip to Palm Springs

We went on a little get away to visit family in Palm Springs. Cameron got to meet his Grandpa Cook as well as his Uncle Dave and Cousins Rachael and Katie. He was very excited to see his Grandma and Auntie again too!
Here is Cameron hanging out in Daddy's suit case.
Three generation's! Grandpa pushed Cameron around in his stroller, and was very eager to hold the little man. As you can see Cameron had a long travel day and was a bit cranky.
Cousin Katie LOVES her Uncle Paul!
Grandma couldn't get enough of the sweet boy! Thanks for letting us stay with you!
Auntie Lisa snuggling with her favorite nephew... :)
Uncle Dave is quite a natural Cameron loved hanging out with him and sweet Rachael.
My how he is growing so fast! He had a lot of firsts on this trip....
First plane ride
First Swim in a pool
First time dressed in only a onesie
First time wearing sticky sunscreen
First time sleeping with a fan in his room
We all had a good time, and now poor Cameron is a little bored with just his mom around to entertain him. He received a lot of love while were there!

Zero- Three!

Today he is three months!
He's full of smiles and changing all the time.
His new favorite thing is hanging out in the front pack
with either mom or dad. He loves reading books, swinging and most of all chatting! He loves to talk! He gives his mommy the sweetest (wet) kisses, and he loves music. Oh yah he also will tork his body if the t.v. is on and he can't see it. I have to turn it off somethimes if I'm trying to feed him and he would rather check out the big screen! Some of the unpleasent things he experienced in his first few months of life include his circumcison, shots, and a suppository! The circumcision was probably harder on Paul and I then it was on him. He was pretty numb and didn't even cry to much. The shots left him with diarrea for a week, poor guy. Finally the suppository experience! It had been 10 days since the last poo, he wasn't too agitated, but I knew it couldn't be to comfortable. I'm pretty sure he didn't love the little glycerin pellet shoved up there, but he was all smiles once everything came out! :)
We love this little guys so much and look forward to the next three month of his life!

Our week in a nut shell

Life with Cameron is so much fun! He definitely knows his mommy which makes my heart very happy! I had no idea it was possible to love someone as much as I love this little dude! Every week flys by. In our house Thursday nights are kind of like Friday nights because Daddy doesn't have to go to work on Friday. Maybe that is why my weeks go so quickly. This week we celebrated Daddy's birthday, played with cousin Jenkins & Auntie Ash, got to spend time with Grandpa and Grandma. Lots of fun for a 2 1/2 month old.
Shanny I had to show you how cozy the little cougar warm up is you and your family gave him. We attempted to go on an early morning walk with Jenkins and Ash. It was a super windy morning, as I was looking in his closet to see what I could find to keep him extra warm this is what I came accross. Not thinking it would fit yet I was pleasantly surprised and sad all at the same time. Remember how huge it was next to his little body when you gave it to him? Needless to say he only got to wear it for a quick ride in the car to Starbucks as it started to rain side ways and we didn't think it would be such a fun outing anymore. We will try again next week :)
Love the buns in this photo had to share!

It has been forever since I have posted anything.... So sorry! Not sure why I can't find a minute to do a quick post since I only have one child and most of you have two or three...Imagine me with more kids!
This first picture is of Cameron with my dear friend Sandy. We work/worked together (not sure if I am going to go back one day a week or not) I'm pretty sure Cameron knows her voice as much as he knew mine and his dad's when he was born. To say the least one of our best skills was catching up with each other everyday! Don't get me wrong we did work too! The main thing I miss about work is Sandy! As you can see we still make time to see each other, she is such a great friend!
This next photo is Pam, she is Sandy's sister and also works with us...She wasn't in on all of chit chat because she worked in the back office. Now however she is doing my old job, and it sounds like she likes it better. Thanks Pam!
This is Britney Sandy's daughter who is such a sweet heart! She is a freshman at WWU. This past weekend we were all together for a baby shower. It was great to see Brit, I hadn't seen her since she came to the hospital to visit when Cameron was born.
Next we have Cameron and I! This is my first picture with Cameron since he was born. I guess there have been others but I have always been in my bathrobe looking quite disgusting! Isn't he changing so fast!?! He smiles all the time. Yesterday while he was asleep in my arms he laughed out loud for the first time! It was so sweet. Now he just needs to work on laughing while he is awake :).
Last but not least a family photo, once again at Daddy's office. Yesterday was Daddy's Birthday! The girls took us to lunch at one of our favorite resturants "Spiro's". We had a nice lunch and Cameron was so good! The girls fight over holding him. He is well loved!
